Terms of service
This page informs you of our policies regarding our terms of service. By using our service you are agreeing to the terms outlined in this policy.
Medical Clearance
It is the individual responsibility of each participant to ensure that they are entering into a class safely and without known or unknown medical risk. The studio will not be liable for any adverse impacts upon an individual if they have not seen a medical professional to ensure they can safely commence classes.
Our teachers do assess the following: movement patterns, posture, joint mobility and range of motion as well as asking questions about past and current health history. However, we are not medical professionals and are not qualified to screen for a complete medical profile. It is your responsibility to consult your GP.
If your medical status changes from when you first commense classes, you must update your teacher immediately.
Conditions of entry
We have a zero tolerance policy for discriminatory and anti-social behaviour that threatens the emotional or physical comfort of other participants. We reserve the right refuse entry or ask that particpants remove themselves from class under circumstances listed above. We are an LGBTQI+ friendly space that caters to vulnerable and marginalised groups. We kindly ask that all students demonstrate decency and respect.
If this policy is not respected and you are asked to leave, the studio is not entitled to refund you for any classes purchased in advance. This will up to our discretion.
Tactile cueing
There may be instances in which the teacher asks if they can assist you through a movement by using tactile cues. This is where they may touch your limbs or torso to aid you in a movement. We have been trained to do this in a respectful and appropriate way. However, if you do not wish to be touched, let your teacher know when they ask for your consent.
Casual class attendance policy
Student who are not signed up to a pack may choose to pay week by week. Please note that while there is more flexibility in this option, attendance of no less than 8/10 classes is required in order for students to maintain the class time they are holding.
Class Packs
Class packs can be purchased in blocks of six or more weeks. Class packs run consecutively from the agreed date of the first class, until the final week of the pack. If the student is sick or has an emergency, the pack can be paused for a maximum of 1 week in the total pack block. If the teacher is sick or away and class is not on, all packs will be paused.
The purchase of a pack is final. There will be no extensions or opportunity to pause packs due to change of mind. In the case of unforseen / emergency circumstances the studio may refund, but this is at our discretion.
Packs can’t be used by anyone other than the individual who purchased them. They can’t be transferred, gifted or sold.
Cancellation Policy
We request that you cancel your classes if absolutely necessary by giving 24 hours notice or more via text or email. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the student will incur the full fee of the class and be sent an invoice with a 7 day time frame to pay the fee.
If you know you will be away, please give as much notice as possible so that the class can be filled.
